A little photo I took in the studio today.    I had to set the cameras timer and let go of the ladder just before the picture took. That thing was loud when it smacked the floor. maybe I should have caught it? oh well.

This is my friend Clifton again. on my driveway with my studio set up. i took a large amount of photos with him. I think that reflects in the amount of posts his name is in. He was my best friend. well….. He still is but he lives in Florida.

Just thought I aught to show you a little bit behind the scenes.

In photo 1 you see the “cameras” photo underway.  It is a simple photo where you see around what the photo is. This set up was in my room….on the floor. and yes. those are my feet. The cameras are on a canvas i had painted black a while back. I chose it because it matches the leather on the cameras pretty well.

The second photo is a back view of “lamp on chair”. I removed the lamp and set it aside because I did not want it sitting on the chair long enough to make an imprint on the cushion. I’m a little paranoid about damage to my vintage items. This set up was in the garage. you are viewing it through the muslin curtain. Muslin is a thin fabric that you can only see through when the light is on the opposite side of your position. Like a two way mirror without the reflection. I think it is very cool, And it is used by most photographers for the studio.
